William Theodore "Bill" Walton III was born on November 5,1952 and he played basketball from 1974 until 1987.Walton played for Portland Blazzer,for Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers.He was an awesome player and he had very good teammates during his basketball career like Larry Bird.In 1977 season Walton led Portland to the NBA title.That season Blazzers were in a very hard situation.They were losing 2-0 in finals series but finally with very good teamgame and maybe the best in NBA history Walton and Blazzers finally became NBA champions.Also the coach of Portland said"Now i present you the best player and person that i have ever seen,Bill Walton."When he went to Boston Celtics he met a NBA championship with the legend,Larry Bird.They were very good together.Walton was very "lucky" during his basketball career because he had the chance to meet very good players.Walton he was a very good rebounder and he liked a lot the teamgame and with his teamgame he gave to his teams a lot of wins.Also Bill Walton has a son who plays with Los Angeles Lakers and his name is Luke Walton.Bill Walton won a "dozen" of awards and these are:2x NBA Champion,NBA finals MVP,1x MVP,NBA Sixth Man of the Year,2x All-NBA Star,1x All-NBA First Team,1x All NBA Second Team,2x NBA All-NBA Defensive First Team,2x NCAA Champion,2x NCCA Final Four Most Outstanding Player,3x Naismith College Player of the Year,3x USBWA Player of the Year,3x Adolph Rupp Tropy,2x Helms Foundation College Player of the Year,3x Sporting News College Player of the Year,2x AP College Player of the Year,3x Consensus NCAA All-American First Team,he is in the 50th Anniversary NBA All-Time Team and he is NBA Hall of Famer.That was the NBA superstar and one of the greatest players of all time in NBA history,Bill Walton!
